Golfers in the area are in for a real treat with the recent opening of the Huddersfield Indoor Golf Centre at Honley.If you are fed up of muddy fairways, driving rain, freezing cold days and darkness at 4pm then you may wish to pay a visit to the state-of-the-art indoor golf training studio which has just opened on the outskirts of town.
The warm and well lit venue has one of the the most realistic golf simulators on the market with a fantastic video swing analysis programme, great putting facilities and superb training aids. There is also a further swing room with golfing fitness apparatus to take your game to the next level.

The operation will be run by local EuroPro Tour player Chris Hanson as a winter project allowing him not only to keep his own game in shape, away from the howling Crosland Heath wind, but also gives local amateur and professional golfers the opportunity to use the facility.
It costs from as little as £3.50 per person for an hour where you could literally be playing some of the best holes in the world (on the simulator) without even leaving the county!
It is based on the main Huddersfield Road in Honley just behind the Somerfield petrol station and sessions can be booked for any day at any time, subject to availability.
