The Pro's 4 Ball Stableford at Outlane Golf Club last month produced some high scoring.
High handicappers Steve Markham and John Chandler made good use of their 25 handicaps in the unusual format of playing 16 holes in a better ball score and then two nominated holes where both had to score which resulted in a magnificent 53 points in their 2nd division competition.
The 1st division competition was won by the two Peters (Lawton and Hey) whilst Mr President (Trevor Pickles) playing with Steve Cooper came second.
1st Division:
Peter Lawton / Peter Hey = 47 points
Steve Cooper / Mr.President = 46 points
Russel Cole / Paul Phillips = 45 points
2nd Division:
Steve Markham / John Chandler = 53 points
Steve McNair / Paul Thomas = 50 points (Back 9)
Gary Alsop / Matthew Alsop = 50 points
