Examiner Matchplay Knockout

Fancy winning a FREE 8-day golfing holiday to Spain? That is the prize one lucky golfer will receive by taking part in and then winning the Hanson Travel sponsored Examiner Matchplay Knockout Tournament.

The popular competition, now in it's sixth year, takes the form of an individual matchplay event and is open to male and female golfers with an official club handicap who are over the age of 18.

A draw will be made shortly after the closing date of the 11th April 2009 with the first round to be played over 2-legs on a home and away basis. Subsequent rounds are contested over 18 holes on a mutually agreeable date with the first named player taking home advantage. The cost of entry has been held at just £20.

The event climaxes to a 'Grand Final' in September when the semi-final and final will be played at Meltham Golf Club. The overall winner can then take his/her free place on the week-long 2009 Examiner Oversea's Challenge on the Costa Blanca.
