A team made up from the golf committee won the annual L.E.G.S trophy at Outlane Golf Club. The trophy is donated by the Lancashire Entertainers Golf Society who use the course to raise money for deserving causes.
The team of Martyn Atkinson ,Nigel Crowther, Andy Lister and Andy McLaughlin won with a 'best 2 scores to count' of 121 despite hitting a remarkable 7 tee shots on the 8th hole, with 3 players re- loading after hitting wayward tee shots which looked to be out of bounds. With only 1 ball in definite play it looked likely that a big score was on the cards but luckily 1 of the wayward shots was found after ricochetting through several trees to finish just in play and they went on to win by 3 shots.

2. J.Pryce / J.Jackson / I.Greenwood / A.Daker = 124
