Clark Continues Great Form

Early starter Paul Walker set the standard in the prestigious Centenary Trophy at Outlane Golf Club with an excellent round of 63 at the weekend. And it looked like it was going to be the winning score until Steve McNair came in with a splendid 62 from the second division to snatch the lead and then junior player Matthew Clark, who had lost three shots from his win the previous week, again produced the goods to take the honours with a late and magnificent 61 nett.

Clark later learnt that he had lost another three shots to his handicap now meaning he has dropped six strokes in just two weeks of golf! A special mention also goes to another junior, Bryn Jenkinson, who again finished third in the first division and now stands just one shot off a single figure handicap.

Division 1:
Paul Walker = 63 nett
John Follows = 64 nett
Bryn Jenkinson = 66 nett

Division 2:
Matthew Clark = 61 nett
Steve McNair = 62 nett
Gary Moulson = 65 nett
