A Lady Member at Dewsbury District Golf Club recently holed-in-one whilst playing in the Ladies Invitation Day.
In very warm conditions Mrs Barbara Barron scored her ace at the 138 yard 6th hole on Tuesday, 2nd June. Barron used her rescue club to record her second hole-in-one at that par three, the other occurring two years ago. She was highly delighted especially as she and her partner, Suzanne Horner from Wakefield Golf Club, finished third in the competition.
The main prize was won by Cynthia English (DDGC) and June Sowden (Huddersfield GC) with Anne Wilkinson (DDGC) and Susan Golembiewski (Hanging Heaton GC) second.
