Crow Nest Park Golf Club held its second Men's Major Competition of the year, The Evans Bowl, on a wonderfully sunny day Saturday just gone.
The competition was a Greensome pairs event played over 18 holes and the winners were Andy Sheldon and Dave Simpson with a score of 64.4 nett. For both of the golfers it was their first Major win and this success now qualifies them both for a lifetime exemption to play in the Champion of Champions event held each year under the title of the Crow Nest Masters.
