An almost unchanged side will take on East Riding Union at Huddersfield Golf Club on Sunday in the latest Yorkshire IDU League contest.Non-playing Captain, Chris Mear, makes just one change from the team that was on duty against Leeds Union keeping faith with the side that at one point threatened an upset at Wetherby.
Todmorden's David Stafford (pictured), who earlier this season landed the J.W. Peet Trophy for the best amateur gross score in the Page Trophy, steps in for the unavailable Steve Martin from West End.
The full team is; Richard Broadley, Andy Shaw, Jim Fairhurst, Brad Tupman, Danny Stocchero (All Huddersfield), Sam Bridges, Chris Ingham, Frank Greaves (All Halifax West End) Graham McLean (Meltham), David Stafford (Todmorden), Iain Powell (Hebden Bridge) and Ben Crowther (Dewsbury District).
Mear is looking forward to the challenge telling the Huddersfield Blog, "I played at Fixby last night in the scratch foursomes and the course is in wonderful condition. East Riding got off to a great start with a win against Teesside but I am hoping that home advantage will play a large part in the result with five home players being involved."
