The Dewsbury District Ladies Section enjoyed a fine weekend celebrating Madam Lady Captain’s weekend recently at The Pinnacle Club.
Lady Captain, Mrs Joy Wilkinson, decided on a 36 and 18 hole competition over the weekend. The weather was kind and the ladies played some excellent golf culminating in a celebration dinner and prize presentation.At the presentation dinner an atmosphere of enjoyment and celebration was enjoyed by all present. Thanks were also expressed to all who had taken part over the weekend and congratulations offered to the prize winners.
The winners of the 36 hole competition were:
1st: Anne Wilkinson = 150
2nd: Steff Sykes = 153
3rd: Jennifer Pinder = 154
The 18 hole competition winners were:
1st: Tracey Ward = 72
2nd: Lorraine Eagle = 74
3rd: Susan Hayman = 74
