Lady golfers travelled from far and wide to play in the latest Ladies Open at Crow Nest Park Golf Club.
The field included golfers from across South and West Yorkshire with the good attendance further confirming the growing reputation within golfing circles of the quality of the Hove Edge located golf course.
The ladies had a good day and got away with the weather although showers throughout threatened. One shower, including thunder and lightening appeared as the final group arrived on the last hole. The weather didn`t dampen the enthusiasm of the ladies with visiting pairs winning the top two prizes.

1st Place: Gwen Davies (Hebden Bridge) & Francis Tighe ( Hebden Bridge) = 45 pts
2nd Place: Julie Marks (Bingley St Ives) & Elaine Tordoff (Northcliffe) = 44 pts
3rd Place: Barbara Nellis (Bradley Hall ) & Ann stafford (CNPGC) = 43 pts
4th Place: Tina Ives (Bradley Hall) & Helen Pearson (CNPGC) = 42 pts
