Seniors League Hotting Up

The Lawrence Batley Seniors League is hotting up as the season draws to a close.

The latest results can be seen below along with the up-to-date league tables.

With the the top team in each division going forwards to the end of season play-offs Marsden look virtually assured of clinching Section A. They lead the table by seven points and have a game in hand on their nearest rivals.

A trio of teams are fighting for first place in Section B with Huddersfield currently in the driving seat but have played a game more than both Bradley Hall and Lightcliffe who are hot on their heels.

Section C also looks set to go to the wire with three teams separated by just one point at the top of the league. Meanwhile defending champions, Woodsome Hall, will need to overturn a two point deficit against leaders Branshaw in Section D if they are to retain their crown.
