Sheffield Slip at Home

Yorkshire Inter-District Union League leaders and defending champions, Sheffield, suffered a shock home defeat at the hands of East Riding Union on Sunday.

The South Yorkshire side lost 14-22 at Doncaster Town Moor but still remain top of the league on points difference. They are now tied with Harrogate who narrowly beat York at Forest Park.

Halifax, Huddersfield drew at Bradley Hall against Bradford whilst Leeds just edged Teesside in the other game at The Wynyard by 19-17.
