The members at Crow Nest Park are raising money to support a marquee based presentation evening in October and also raising money to support Club Members activities along with local Charity donations.
One member, Phil Widdop, recently raised over £800.00 for the West Yorks Air Ambulance. And last Friday night saw the Club's second Fantasy Golf evening. 32 golfers of varying ability tackled the Golf Course at Hove Edge from a totally new perspective. Sean Higgins designed six new holes. - How many times have you wandered around a golf course, looked through a wooden glade with a golf green sat in the distance and said to your self "now that would make a lovely hole" - well Sean did just that and made his golfing fantasy come true.
The evening was complemented with a Barbecue which was put together by Sean Higgins and Steve Atkinson and rounded off by a raffle and then an impromptu auction as the winners of virtually all the prizes donated the items back to the fund raising team to raise further funds.

The evening raised over £300. The fundraising team are holding a grand auction at the Club house at Crow Nest Park on Friday 28th August and are expecting a really big turnout as last year the event proved to be a great success. The items being auctioned will be on display from 4.00 pm on the day of the auction with the bidding taking place from 7.00pm. Visitors and guest are welcome.Pictured above are Sean Higgins, on the left, with three of the winning team, Mike Walton, David May & Paul Everitt.
