With nine ladies qualifying for the Ladies Championship but only eight taking part it was a small but select field that contested the last Ladies Major of the season at Crow Nest Park Golf Club.
In a very tight competition that saw only three shots separate fourth and second. On any other day Mandy Widdop's one over par 73 would have been good enough to seal victory. However Kathy Hitchcock posted a fabulous four under nett 68, one of the best rounds of the year.
This was not only Mrs Hitchcock's second win in this competition but also her second major of the season.

1st. Kathy Hitchcock = nett 68
2nd. Mandy Widdop = nett 73
3rd. Barbara Horrocks = nett 75
4th. Carole Hampson = nett 76
