Strong Showing From Union Juniors

The Halifax, Huddersfield Union Junior Team finished fourth in the Yorkshire IDU Junior Team Championship at Tankersley Park last month.

The six-man side narrowly missed out on runners-up spot as Sheffield coasted to a home victory. The HHDUGC scored a grand total of 913, a shot behind Bradford in third and just two strokes behind second placed East Riding.

Crow Nest Park's Ben Adamson was the star performer with rounds of 73 and 72, just five off the best 36-hole total which went to East Riding's Paul Lockwood (pictured). Tom Calvert and Tom Goodair also posted very respectable 146 totals, both scoring 71 and then 75.
