Highly promising Outlane's 13-year-old Charlotte Hirst recorded her first Ladies Section Medal win with a magnificent 72 nett and reduced her handicap by two shots on Thursday's Ladies Day. Bad weather prevailed throughout her evening round but Charlotte reigned supreme to produce her best ever score to celebrate her success.
"I knew it was all to play for and I just went out to do my best and my first medal win was really special." said Charlotte who looks to have a bright future in front of her.
