The weather over the two days was bright and sunny, a welcome change for those who have competed in earlier years in inclement weather. Richard Harris, head green-keeper, ensured that the course was in tip top condition for the two day event.
Winners were presented with their prizes by Lady Captain and Competitions Secretary, Annie Green who said that all winners had reduced their handicap;

Winners for the Men’s 9 hole competition were;

Runner Up: David Woolerton 31½
Elaine Woolerton organises the thriving Canaster group for The Ladies Section and prizes were awarded to Terry Jackson and Sally Thompson for the best score of over 4,000.
