Eileen Kenny takes Elland Lady Captain’s Prize

The Lady Captain’s Day competition at Elland Golf Club was held over two days, Tuesday 22nd June and Thursday 24th June. The lady Captain, Carole Wood, met all the 44 players on the first tee and presented each of them with a gift and well wishes for a good round.

The weather over the two days was bright and sunny, a welcome change for those who have competed in earlier years in inclement weather. Richard Harris, head green-keeper, ensured that the course was in tip top condition for the two day event.
