Mr Captain’s Day at Elland Golf Club

Elland Golf Club held a dinner and prize presentation for Mr Captain’s Day on Saturday 19th June. Prizes for the Ladies Day held on Tuesday 15 June were;

Runner Up; Tracey Ward - Nett 69
Best Gross; Linda Gul - 89
Nearest the pin; Sue Proctor 2’ 3”
Nearest the line; Margaret Kavanagh 50cm

A total of 44 ladies played on the day, each had a warm welcome from Captain, David Nicholson and his wife Janet. The ladies were presented with a little goodie bag and offered a tipple of their choice before teeing off.

The 93 men who took part played over two days, Day 1 Saturday 12 June, Day 2 Saturday 19 June. Prizes were for;

The Captain presented his wife Janet (pictured) with a bouquet of flowers and thanked her for her support.
