Away draw for Union at Catterick whilst Juniors need win for 2nd spot

The HHDUGC scored an 18-18 draw away at Catterick Golf Club against Teesside Union at the weekend.

The result leaves them in 4th position in the league with just one game (home to Sheffield at West End) remaining. A win could lift them to third place but defeat could see them drop to 7th place.

Meanwhile the Junior side (pictured with their new shirts - sponsored by Mr Harry Haworth, Past President and Captain of Meltham Golf Club) narrowly went down 19-17 away at Harrogate as they slipped to third in the league.

They also have one game remaining (home to Teesside at Bradley Hall - played yesterday but awaiting result) where a draw or better would see them finish as runners-up. Sheffield's title was confirmed when the HHDUGC side failed to beat Harrogate by a mammoth scoreline.
