ReadyMix manager Andy McLaughlin set an early score in the September medal which incorporates the Moxon Bowl in its format and whilst he won the first division it was William Iredale who won the latter.
The Moxon Bowl is played in the medal for winners of major competitions and medals since the previous years competition.
Whilst Andy won by 3 shots from Paul Thomas the latter must be regretting his 5 shots he dropped on the first 3 holes which would have won him the prize.
The second division saw 76 years old Jim Sykes just getting the better of new member David Brown in a countback with William Iredale a further 3 shots back which was still good enough for him to win the Moxon Bowl. to add to the Wood Trophy he won 4 weeks ago.
