The ladies of Elland Golf Club enjoyed golf and luncheon on Thursday 26 August. There were 36 ladies who played in a stableford competition. This was followed by a buffet lunch for 56. Lady Captain, Carole Wood, organised this Centenary Luncheon and funds raised on the day were given to the NSPCC.
Carole presented a cheque for £540.15 to Marian Bain from the Halifax branch of the NSPCC, who said the money would be very useful for the benefit of needy children.
