Hanson on his way to Spain

Woodsome Hall professional Chris Hanson put in a solid 4th round of 74 (+2) to leave him tied for 10th position and on his way to Spain for Stage 2 of European Tour Qualifying School.

After he scored 76 (+4) in the morning 3rd round, to lie 10th on +11, he was nine behind the leader. But more importantly with 1 round to go he was still three shots inside the qualifying mark.

He ended up 12 shots behind Wallace Booth who was the only player to break par for the 4 rounds (287, -1).

Hanson's previous experience at qualifying school in Spain should stand him in good stead when the four rounds of stage 2 starts on 26th–29th November.

Final qualifying, over 6 rounds, is at Catalunya in December. So he only has 180 holes to go!!
