The first dinner of the year for the Huddersfield Lady Captains was recently held at Outlane Golf Club.The photo shows nearly all the Lady Captains at their first dinner of their year. Unfortunately the Outlane Lady Captain, Davina Pallister, was called to Dagenham for a company meeting but as you can see she was there in character with the help of the Lady Vice Captain, Dr.Gillian Goodlass, who was mask-erading as her!
From left to right; 1. Pat Wrightson - Huddersfield (won the Yorkshire Veteran Ladies Championship earlier this year) 2. Gill Travis - Crosland Heath (member of the Ladies Scratch team which made the finals this year) 3. Dr.Gillian Goodlass - Outlane Vice Captain who was standing in for Davina Pallister 4. Joan Reilly - Longley Park (her husband is well known to us all -Parnell Reilly) 5. Sue Malins - Bradley Park (provided Pimms on her day at the halfway house) 6. Bev Collins -Marsden (in her second year as Lady Captain) 7. Rosie Cleave - Woodsome Hall (raises money for the NSPCC and is now honorary member of their council) 8. Janet Liley - Dewsbury ( known as the quiet one) 9. Denise Mear - Meltham (her husband Chris is manager of the Union Team)
