Jamie Bower (Meltham) and Nick Marsh (Elland) were both in action representing Yorkshire Boys against Derbyshire Boys on Tuesday 19th April at the Cavendish Golf Club, Buxton, Derbyshire.Bower, seen in the photo on the left, is captain of the Yorkshire side and lead the team to success in the morning foursomes with an emphatic 5-1 win . The team continued their success in the afternoon, beating the home side 11-1 in the singles. An outstanding 16-2 win for Yorkshire's first match of the season.
It was Nick Marsh’s first outing for Yorkshire , his selection coming after a successful winter of EGU training , whilst Jamie Bower has recently been selected to represent England at a forthcoming International Match in Denmark .
