Elland Golf Club held a Senior’s Open 4 Ball Better Ball competition on Tuesday 31st May.
The event was well attended with 43 pairs taking part on a beautiful sunny, if rather windy day.
The competitors played off ¾ handicap and the winning team came in with 40 points.
They were Barry Crank and Martin Greenwood, both from Elland. In second place were Steve Newcombe and David Thomas with 39 points.
On this very windy day, Robert Holroyd, did well to get within 172” to win the Nearest the Pin prize.
