The prestigious McGill bowl was played for at the Woodsome Hall Invitation Day on Saturday 9th July.
The format was, as usual, a Fourball Betterball Stableford. One member with an invited guest.
It was an honour this year to have the Grandson Paul McGill of the Trophy provider, Mr T. D. McGill who incidentally was the Club Captain in 1949, present the McGill Trophy to the winners, Steve Armitage Woodsome Hall and David Black Member at Shipley Beck Foot Golf Club, they came in with 44 points.
All said how well presented the course was and the course manager Chris Dyson came in for much praise.
