Daley wins Earl of Dartmouth

Hainsworth Park's Matthew Daley won the Earl of Dartmouth Trophy at Woodsome Hall Golf Club last Friday.

He scored rounds of 69 & 70 to win by a stroke in the Yorkshire Order of Merit event.

The other prizes winners were as follows:

Winner – Matthew Daley (Hainsworth Park) – 69 70 = 139

Second – George Forder (Fulford) – 73 67 = 140

Third – Adam Cryer (Woodsome Hall) – 71 71 = 142 (better last 9 holes)

Fourth – Ashley Smith (Garforth) – 71 71 = 142 (better last 18 holes)

Fifth – Julian Taylor (York) – 70 72 = 142

Best 1st Round – Andy Shaw (Huddersfield) – 70

Best 2nd Round – Matthew Atter (Bradford) – 69

Best 36 Hole Nett – Ian Lawson (Woodsome Hall) – 139
