Last Thursday, 11th August, The Watkinson Trophy was played for in the second ever Junior Open at Hanging Heaton Golf Club.
The Trophy donated by Mr and Mrs Watkinson was won by Hanging Heaton's own, Dominic Hale with a fantastic score of 60. This pulled him 2 shots, and in a handicap meeting later that evening he was pulled another 2 under Rule 19, for his excellent form of late.
