The Yorkshire Union Team Championship took place at Cleveland Golf Club on Wednesday 10th August.

It was a very windy day with a number of rain showers.
Woodsome Hall Golf Club had come through from the 4th division to take part in this prestigious team competition and they retained their place by coming 11th and will therefore take part in the team championship in 2012 without any pre-qualifying.
Huddersfield Golf Club also retained first division status for next year after finishing in 9th place.
Adam Cryer from Woodsome Hall had the best 1st round score with a gross 71. Full results can be found here.
